ClientARCO

ARCO is one of the most important contemporary art fairs in the world. People, ideas, movement: always in motion. Designing its VIP room, we asked ourselves one question: what kind of time should happen here. The answer was pause.

We traveled back to the medieval cloister, not for its form but for its logic: light at the center, shadow at the edge, and between them, the conditions for contemplation. That geometry became Cronos Adytum. Cronos: time. Adytum: the innermost sanctuary of a temple. The most intimate corner of ARCO, where time is perceived differently.

POLIGHT shaped the light that makes that argument visible, the dialogue between the illuminated center and the shadow that holds it. Natuzzi furnished for staying, not passing through. Blooms introduced vegetation as the cloister always did: nature as a quiet measure of time. Muguerza resolved the textiles that carry the atmosphere.

In a fair built to celebrate art, Cronos Adytum was the space that made space for it to be felt.
