The home SO’s founder designed on becoming a mother

Casa Rodri is a 120 m² home in Madrid’s Ibiza neighbourhood, redesigned around the arrival of a child. The main suite sets the starting point: bedroom, dressing room and bathroom are organised around the routines of a couple with a newborn. Between kitchen, dining room and living room, a perimeter skirting runs continuously, and where it stops a shadow gap carries the line on with the same precision. Sofía Oliva designed it as her own home, and we planned it from the start with a second life in mind, one in which other people live there.
